Rishabh Pant’s sister, Sakshi Pant, recently posted a strong comment on a video which trolled her brother for his poor batting performance against Punjab Kings (PBKS) in an IPL 2025. For the unversed, the LSG versus PBKS match was held on March 31, 2025 (tuesday).
The video was made by thefauxysports, a platform that’s known for making satirical content. In the video, an anchor made fun of Rishabh Pant’s poor performance in IPL 2025 while also reminding viewers of the heft proce at which the player was bought by LSG during the IPL 2025 Mega auction. “Big news is coming from Lucknow where after seeing Rishabh Pant’s performance today, the rest of the IPL teams decided that they will together give Rs 27 crore to LSG owners to not let Pant go out of the franchise. In fact, Pant, who was sold for 27 crores, has not scored even 27 runs till now, and more than that has been spent in treating the anger of LSG owner Goenka… According to Foxy sources, after seeing Rishabh Pant’s performance, LSG owner Goenka has apologized to KL Rahul. Currently, to recover his ₹27 crores, Goenka is thinking of making Rishabh Pant his car driver,” the anchor said in the video.
However, the video didn’t go well with Pant’s sister Sakshi, who took to social media and gave a fitting reply to the post. Defending her brother, Sakshi Pant posted on the video, “That’s why we say two faced media/People”.

Soon, netizens too jumped into the conversation– while some wrote in support of Pant, other criticised his poor performance in the match. A few others responded to Sakshi asking her not to take such satirical videos too seriously.

Sakshi Pant recently got married to her long-time partner Ankit Choudhary in Dehradun, and their wedding was attended by many legendary and popular cricketers including MS Dhoni, Suresh Raina, among others. Pictures and videos of Sakshi Pant’s wedding had gone viral on the internet; and cricket fans got a glimpse of their favourite cricketers in a lighter mood.
As per reports, Sakshi has an MBA degree and a career in the National Pharmacy Association. Her husband, Ankit Choudhary is a London-based businessman.
Sakshi and Rishabh also often post pictures with each other on social media, which shows their deep bond and love for each other.
